Sometimes we go on dates

Just usually not in February

In case I have not made it clear in the past three years... tax season sucks. That being said, it is in fact our third time around so I feel like so far this year we are handling a little bit better. The trick, we really try not to plan too much and just take some time when we can get it; and that was the case last Saturday night when when we randomly texted Julie to see if she could watch the kids and went to Red Lobster for dinner. 

We got to have dinner and walk around the mall together, it was perfect. 

 I am mostly writing this post to remind myself that even as things get worse these next couple of months, it will eventually by April 15th and all over.

As we wait for that magical date, we just have to continue to make the best of all the moments we get
